Objectives:

We are looking for a market research expert to join our team as a Market Research Associate. In this role, you collect and analyze data on prospective customer demographics and preferences. You also use quantification to transform research and observations into measurable quantities. Our ideal candidate can provide valuable prospective customer and competitor insights that we can use to increase revenue and improve our overall business strategies. As part of our team, you must be able to identify key market trends and work in a collaborative environment.

Your Focus:

  • A sales development rep ("SDR") discusses future plans and goals for the upcoming period with researchers during briefing meetings. With a combined effort, the researchers and the SDRs distribute work assignments for the upcoming period.
  • Each researcher is assigned with a specific share of the market, depending on the priorities set by the SDR, to be explored in order to generate a viable account list.
  • Segmentation is done by industry (Lending, Insurance, BNPL, etc.). market or some other parameter. Within the target group, the MRA will be looking for potentially interesting companies that comply with the defined parameters.
  • After compiling a list of the desired accounts (companies that fit the criteria set), the MRA will then compile a list of desired contacts from those accounts (information about the employees of the accounts list, that fit the criteria of role and position).
  • The MRA will have a weekly or a monthly goal of the number of accounts and contacts, determined by the manager. E.g. 250 contacts and 50 accounts.

About You:

The role of an MRA should never be seen as a static one. A good type of person for this position is one that is naturally curious. A person that welcomes new challenges and always looks for new ways to streamline processes. Always looking for ways to improve and ease your everyday processes should be a good indication of compatibility within this role.

A perfect fit is a person that has great organizational skills, is good with time management and is coupled with an analytical way of thinking. A person that has great perception skills and knows how to combine it with creative thinking.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in marketing or related field
  • Posses search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge with CRM programs
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, etc.)
  • Experience advising clients or senior management on the best ways to use provided data
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing, and mining
