Your Focus:

  • Have a strategic impact on a combination of areas that could include a large team, a profound technical problem, or a long-term initiative.
  • Set short to medium-term (6-12 months) strategic technical direction, identify the areas of greatest need, and draft a plan to improve them.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their use-cases, unblock integrations, and anticipate their needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance on technical decisions that impact other teams and potentially the company at large.
  • Collaborate with the product team to determine technical requirements for new applications, services, and integrations.
  • Contribute to software architecture and best practices.
  • Participate in an agile development cycle, write documentation, perform code reviews, and mentor others.
  • Research, propose, develop, and deploy new technologies and practices.
  • Work with a team of uniquely talented engineers who love learning, experimenting, and pushing the limits.
  • Participate in building an outstanding company culture that focuses on the human engine inside Neuro-ID and enables you to do the best work of your career.

About You:

  • You can develop software in Java and/or JavaScript and understand both the theoretical concepts of the language and how to write well-documented well-tested code.
  • You have a track record of creating improvements in business-critical systems around stability, performance, and scalability.
  • You have experience automating software deployments to cloud environments like AWS and are comfortable defining infrastructure as code.
  • You are familiar with AWS and the breadth of services, including compute, database, storage, and analytics.
  • You can manage your own time, and work well independently and as part of a team.
  • You look to find new and innovative ways to tackle complex problems through thorough experimentation.
